I am writing to let you know that I have been sick again and have not been able to write this month’s newsletter. The latest has been dealing with Shingles. I went to the emergency room this past Tuesday to get some medicine to help me heal. The first thing I received was pain medicine, and some pills that are supposed to help heal my shingles.

My wave of illness was caused by letting go of all my old garbage. It started on November 20, 2019. On November 27 I woke up with extreme pain and thought I was having a heart attack and went to the emergency room. That was not the case. My heart is fine. They took X-rays of my chest and it showed that I had a hernia on the top of my stomach and diagnosed me with having acid Indigestion.

They sent me home with some pills for acid indigestion. I took them for nine days until I realized my taste buds were gone.  I immediately stopped taking the pills and then noticed that I had a rash on my chest. I had been in extreme pain for days. This past Tuesday I went back to the emergency room to find out what my rash was all about and the doctor took one look at it and said I had Shingles. That explained why I had been in so much pain.

When I was in the emergency room this past Tuesday, they took another X-ray of my chest and my hernia was gone. There was no hernia on my chest at all. The X-ray was perfect. In fact, all of my tests were fine except for my shingles. Now where did my hernia go? Well, when I came home from the doctor on November 27, I told my friend Mona that I had a hernia. She said “no problem. I will move it down”. When I went back to the emergency room and my X-ray came back without a hernia. I thought wow, she really moved it down. Thank Goodness because the doctor told me I would probably have to have it operated on.
